Google is thinking out side of the box and by end of 2012 will launch Android based eyeglasses that will stream information to your eyes in real time, according to a new report in the New York Times.
This high tech device will have the same Android software used in smartphones and will allow you to check your email, update your social media sites and navigate through the city with a 3G or 4G data connection. One of the seller features are: a built in navigation system, motion sensors, audio inputs and outputs, and a camera that delivers via a data connection, information about your location in real time.
The glasses will hit the stores by the end of the current year at a retail price of approximately $250 to $600 – Around the price of current smartphones.
This looks like a very exciting product, so we will have to wait until later this year to find out how consumers adjust to the invention, in a world where smartphones have taken the front seat in technological advances.
